IPM arrangement

The IPM arrangement is offered to you by Aon, in collaboration with Zilveren Kruis as healthcare insurance provider.

Basic healthcare insurance

You will soon receive a new policy from Aon for your basic healthcare insurance. Aon will collect your premium and take care of the administration of your insurance and of processing your Dutch claims (invoices for any care you have been given in the Netherlands).

We prefer to work digitally and recommend you to activate your ‘Mijn Omgeving’ page. To do this, you can use this manual.

Coverage within the basic healthcare insurance

The government determines which care is included in the basic healthcare insurance; thus, this is the same for every insurance provider. However, the details may differ from one insurance provider to another and the coverage changes a bit every year. Under ‘Important documents’ you can find an overview of all the changes in 2021. The IPM package offers you the basic insurance ('Restitutie') shown below. Take note: you can change your basic healthcare insurance up and until 31 December 2021.

For healthcare in the Netherlands:
  • Free choice of healthcare provider
  • Visit any hospital in case of an emergency
  • Always allowed to visit your own general practitioner
  • Reimbursement of 100% up to a maximum of the costs that would be generally accepted in the Netherlands

Supplementary healthcare insurance Aon Global Health Supplement

Your foreign supplementary insurance Aon Global Health Supplement (AGHS) with any additional Comfort Class and dental coverage is provided by the international insurance provider Allianz Care. 

This insurance provider has a large international network which you can make use of if you need care abroad. For more information, please check the frequently asked questions on the bottom of this page.

You will receive a separate Allianz Care policy for your supplementary insurance. The premium payment for any supplementary insurance is also made through Allianz Care. You will automatically receive a notification about this.

Who does what?

Aon administrates your basic healthcare insurance.

Allianz Care administrates the supplementary healthcare insurances Aon Global Health Supplement (AGHS), Comfort Class and the dental care insurance.
