Excess

Certain treatments of Philips Health support will be reimbursed by your basic health insurance or supplementary health insurance. In the year 2016 that applies to the products: Short Psychological Care Online (SPCO), Physical intake (PI), Short-term or long-term Physical Recovery Coaching and Multidisciplinary First-line Rehabilitation.

Excess

The medical expenses that are not covered by the employees own insurances, will be borne by the employer (Philips). Your health insurance excess may be affected, when using Health support.   

When using Short-term Psychological Care or Intensive Psychological Care, your excess may be affected. The reimbursement of your excess depends on your health insurance details:

  • If you are insured via IAK
    If you are insured with IAK under the group contract, the mandatory excess of € 385.00 (2016) is compensated by IAK in advance. This means that you receive the care you need but do not pay any mandatory excess. 
  • If you are not insured via IAK
    If you are not insured with IAK under the group contract, the mandatory excess of € 385.00 (2016) is not compensated by IAK.
  • Voluntary excess
    Alongside the mandatory excess you can also opt for a voluntary excess. The costs of the voluntary excess will not be compensated.
